Diabetic Eye Screening

Do you have diabetes? Are you aged 12 or over?

If you can answer YES to both questions, you are eligible for a FREE NHS diabetic eye screening appointment.

Eye screening is an important part of your diabetes care and looks for small changes in the back of your eye. If left untreated, these changes can lead to sight loss.

if you have not had your eyes checked in the last 12 months, please call us on the number below to book an appointment or email uho-tr.retinalscreening@nhs.net

you will be sent a letter when you are due for screening. If you have any queries, call (0116) 258 3150.
